Mary Jane Halley, CPA

Mary Jane Halley has been a CPA for more than 35 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University in 1986 and began her career with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in Detroit, Michigan. After moving home to Oklahoma in 1988, Mary Jane worked at Deloitte & Touche for several years before leaving to work in local CPA firms. In the fall of 2007, she became self-employed when she & Bud Lauhon formed Lauhon & Halley, PLLC. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in trust and individual taxation as well as small business accounting and tax services. Mary Jane is the managing member of Halley, McDaniel & Cuite, PLLC.

Mary Jane is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Oklahoma Society of CPAs and Tulsa Estate Planning Forum.

Mary Jane enjoys spending time with her adult kids, road trips, reading and needlework. She is a member of Joy Lutheran church where she is a choir member and frequent soloist.

Jacey McDaniel, CPA

Jacey McDaniel is a certified QuickBooks® Pro Advisor (CQPA) proficient in several accounting software programs, including Sage 50 (formerly Peachtree). She has more than 15 years of experience which includes bookkeeping, individual, partnership and corporation tax return preparation and payroll reporting compliance. She is responsible for all accounting functions for several of the firm's clients.

In addition to her professional experience, Jacey graduated with an Associate's degree in liberal arts from Tulsa Community College and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Northeastern State University.

Jacey and her husband, Ryan, are residents of Broken Arrow. Jacey spends time with the Broken Arrow Tigettes as Treasurer, where her daughter is on the JV Team. When not working, Jacey is with Riley and the Tigettes or Cohen and his Tae-kwon-Do activities or baseball games. Jacey and her family are ruled by Frankie, their sassy Boston Terrier, and enjoy camping, lake activities, and spending time with family.

Barbara Cuite, CPA

Barbara Cuite has been a CPA for more than 40 years. She received her Bachelor's and Master's in accounting from the University of Kansas. Barbara has extensive experience in accounting for home builders and in commercial real estate ventures.

In addition to her leadership role in the firm, Barbara is an active member of a number of professional and community organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, Tulsa Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, Leadership Oklahoma and Leadership Tulsa.

Barbara enjoys time on the lake kayaking and riding Sea-Doos. She is enjoying travel experiences with high school friends, sorority sisters, family and friends. She enjoys walking and exercise experiences.

William H. (Bud) Lauhon, CPA - Retired, June 30, 2017

William “Bud” Lauhon began his professional career in the tax department at First National Bank and Trust Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After ten years he moved to public accounting with Deloitte & Touche where he worked for 20 years. He then worked for four years with a local Tulsa accounting firm prior to launching Lauhon & Halley, PLLC in 2007. Bud's tax compliance and consulting experience is based primarily on individual and trust taxation with significant experience in numerous business entities.

Bud is a graduate of the University of Tulsa and is a member of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

Courtney Rueb, CPA

Manager

Courtney Rueb began her career in public accounting as a tax associate with BKD, LLP. Courtney has tax preparation and consulting experience with individual, trust and business taxation. Courtney is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Courtney has been a CPA for more than 7 years and has worked in public accounting for nearly a decade. She graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor's degree of Business Administration.

Courtney and her husband, Kevin, are residents of Bixby. Courtney and her family enjoy traveling to Durango, CO, Walt Disney World, and to Broken Bow. When not traveling, they also enjoy cooking, playing tennis, and swimming.

Terri Long, Client Services Accounting Specialist

Terri Long is an accounting services professional who joined Barbara's team in 2010. Terri is a Quickbooks® Pro Advisor (QQPA) and is proficient with several accounting software programs. She has over 23 years of experience in office management and basic accounting for small business. Terri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Master of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy.

Terri enjoys spending time with her four children, six grandchildren and four grand dogs camping, exploring local events, going to the movies, and just being together. When not traveling and going on other grand adventures, Terri can be found scrapbooking, or in the kitchen cooking for her family, baking, and beautifully decorating her delicious cakes.

Nohemi Martinez

Nohemi graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance. During college she worked as an accounts receivable clerk. She is planning to enroll at Northeastern State University to pursue a master’s in accounting.

Nohemi has lived in Tulsa since she was one year old. She enjoys working out and spending time with family and friends. She has a 9-year beagle and a recently adopted puppy.

Michael Tinsley

Michael Tinsley graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2014 and has been working in tax ever since. He is currently pursuing his CPA license. Michael lives in Broken Arrow with his wife, daughter, and basset hound. In his free time he enjoys attending concerts, baseball games, camping, and spending time with family.

Shoua Fang

Shoua Fang is a graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. She moved to Oklahoma in 2021. She currently resides in Owasso with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she likes to learn about real estate and enjoys doing rehabs with her husband. Gardening is a new hobby for her, though she is not good at it, she enjoys the therapeutic process behind it.

Laura and her husband Jimmie live in Bixby, have two sons, and a well-loved dog named Mollie. Brielle Beard

Brielle Beard has more than two decades of bookkeeping and office management experience. She was previously COO of a small tax and bookkeeping firm and prior to that was office manager at an IT company.

In addition to her professional experience, Brielle is treasurer of Stanley Rother Catholic Worker and helped operate Kraston House, the organization's homeless hospitality house. She is passionate about helping small business owners, workers, and others achieve their dreams.

Brielle lives in Tulsa with her husband Charles and their two youngest children. They are blessed that their three adult children and all three grandkids also live locally.

Lisa Ohlde joined the team as Office Manager in January 2018, after nearly 16 years on the Administrative team at a local CPA firm. Many of those who have worked at HM&C worked with Lisa at the previous firm, and had known her for years. Not only did Lisa help keep the office running smoothly, she was a treasured friend.
